What to Expect
Background and References
I understand the importance of trust when hiring a nanny. To provide you with peace of mind, I will share:
· My CV, detailing my qualifications and experience.
· Impeccable references from previous families I have worked with.
· Proof of my DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
· My First Aid Certificate.
Initial Consultation
The process begins with an initial consultation where I meet with you to discuss your family’s needs and expectations. This meeting allows us to get to know each other and ensures that I can provide the best possible care tailored to your children. During this consultation, we will cover:
· Your child's routine, preferences, and any specific needs.
· Your expectations regarding duties and responsibilities.
· Emergency procedures and contact information.
· Any allergies or medical conditions your child may have.
Trial Period
To ensure a good fit, we can arrange a trial period where I spend time with your children while you are present. This period allows your children to get comfortable with me and for you to observe how I interact with them. It also provides an opportunity fine-tune routines and preferences.
Daily Routine and Communication
I believe in maintaining open and transparent communication with parents. You can expect:
· Daily updates on your child’s activities, meals, naps, and any notable events.
· Regular discussions to review and adjust routines as needed.
Engaging Activities
I strive to make each day fun and educational for your children. Expect:
· Age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
· Creative and engaging playtime, both indoors and outdoors.
· Reading, arts and crafts, and other activities that align with your child’s interests.
Flexibility and Reliability
Life with children can be unpredictable, and I am here to provide flexible and reliable support. You can expect:
· Punctuality and consistency in my schedule.
· Willingness to adapt to changes in routines or special requests.
· Support for late nights, weekends, or travel if needed.
